Rolex Social

Agency: BBL/P | Role: Creative Lead
Much like the intricate process of crafting Rolex’s iconic timepieces, doubling the brand’s social media following to 20 million required time and hard work. This challenge spanned 4.5 years, during which I led the social media content strategy and creative - art + copy - across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Weibo, and WeChat.

This showreel is one example of 50 months of always-on social content I oversaw the curation of, from concept to production. It showcases the ‘watch of the month’ and its theme, as well as Rolex’s topical CSR initiatives and sponsorships.

To enhance the brand's online presence and increase engagement, I constantly refreshed the content across all platforms by conceptualizing beautifully crafted films and imagery.

40 Love

To celebrate 40 years as the Official Timekeeper at Wimbledon, Rolex launched the “The Perfect Match since 1978” campaign with the smashing hashtag - 40 Love.

Presenting a rally through the decades played between brand ambassadors, including Federer, Borg, and Evert, the film struck a chord with fans, achieving 2.2 million views across all platforms.

Twitter Launch

Rolex launched on Twitter with a short film introducing the founder, Hans Wilsdorf - 'The Man Behind The Crown'. Now known as X, this platform became the place for the company to share its rich history, CSR initiatives, and breaking news.

Earth Day 50

From the highest peaks to the deepest seas, Rolex supports projects aimed at protecting the planet. To celebrate 50 years of Earth Day, the brand launched an 'interactive globe' showcasing 50 inspiring initiatives on its philanthropy site, rolex.org.
