Testicular cancer affects 1 in 250 men. Most don't check until it's too late. Not because they don't care. Because they don't like thinking about their balls. Men will study every inch of a football kit though. Every centimetre of it branded and monetised. Except one. The testicular region on players' shorts. No sponsor had ever touched it. So we did. During Testicular Cancer Awareness Month, CD Leganés wore the Testicular Cancer Society's logo exactly there, in a sold-out match against FC Barcelona, the most-followed club on the planet. Commentators called it out. Livestreamers zoomed in. Searches spiked overnight. The boldest billboard in football was a logo the size of a fruit. And it finally got men to look at the right balls.
